The Festival

At the screening of Antakya Koç Container City, actor Uğur Duralı and actor Osman Koyun from the crew of the movie Bir Başka Aşk distributed lemonade to children.

On the second day of the festival, a representative from the Japanese Embassy distributed gifts to earthquake-stricken children in the Koç Container City after a film screening, as part of the 100th Anniversary Celebrations of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Turkey.

Ansam Culture Association and Festival President Mehmet Oflazoğlu presented a plaque of appreciation to the representative of the Japanese Embassy for their contributions to the 12th Antakya International Film Festival within the scope of the 100th Anniversary Celebrations of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Turkey.

The screening of Antakya Üçgedik Habib'i Neccar Container City was attended by the crew of the film Bir Başka Aşk, Director Mehmet Ali Arslan, Kosovar actor Tringa Shala, actor Uğur Duralı, former football players İlker Yazmacı, Mehmet Özşimşek, actor Osman Koyun, press representatives, residents of the Container City and University students. After the screening, children were served cake and drinks. The audience was happy to be side by side with the actors.

At the award ceremony held at the Conference Hall of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Communication, Müge Uğurlar was deemed worthy of the "Best Film" and "Best Director" awards in the Feature Film Competition for her film "Derun." Ali Kerem Gülermen received the "Best Screenplay" and "Yeşilçam Special" awards for his film "Yakamoz." Veli Kuzlu received the "Best Cinematography" award for his film "The Last Supper."
